Use every bit of your printer ink: If your printer suddenly runs out of ink just take the cartridge out and use the hair dryer to heat it. Often the ink is clogged and the hot air softens it and lets the ink flow. Use the cartridge while it’s still warm.

Getting rid of fingerprints on wallpaper: Have you just glued your wallpaper and noticed some fingerprints on it? Don't panic! Simply rub the marks with some soft bread and they will disappear.

Keeping bread soft: Put half an apple in your bread bin and your bread will keep nice and soft! You can also store your biscuits in the same manner.

Removing ink stains on wood: Cover with some oxalic acid or with some bleach diluted in cold water. Let it rest and rinse with tap water until the stain disappears.

Screwing a nail without breaking the wood: In order to screw a nail without breaking the wood, humidify the wood with some water. The screw will go in more easily without breaking the wood.
