Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
Went to the iTunes festival last night to see arctic monkeys.
Omg. They are so good live. Played quite a few new songs which I didn't know (album only came out yesterday too)
First time seeing them live. And they sounded awesome they had the crowd jumping and singing along from the first note
So much more packed than paramore the other night but I know they are bigger (and a lot better ) te standby que was massive and doubt many got in to see them
10/10

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
I've quite a few gigs lined up over the next couple of months - none of them free sadly! Sleeping with Sirens kicks us off at the start of October - having to go to Newcastle for that one (from central Scotland). Then it's Bring me the Horizon in Glasgow a couple of weeks later. Another couple of weeks after that and I'm off to London for the Vans Warped tour (
). Yet another couple of weeks later and it's Bullet for My Valentine/ Asking Alexandria in Glasgow, and then A Day to Remember at the start of January. Goooood times. I'm absolutely skint now, but I don't care a jot! Beans on toast till Christmas sounds fine by me!

BMTH always put on a great show and the support is amazing!
ADTR are also amazing!
Have fun!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
Why thank you! When I tell the girls in my work about the gigs I'm going to they always look a bit baffled! If it's not straight out of the top 20 they haven't a clue! I had a bit of a heartstopper
yesterday when I realised my boss hadn't authorised my time off for the 'away gigs' - but it's all sorted now. Phew!

I went to the Elton John iTunes festival show last night. It was brilliant. I saw him when I was 9 and he was good then. Seems to get better with age.
Plenty of celebs there too including Stephen Fry, Benedict Cumberbatch, Giafranco Zola and Tom Hiddlestone!

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
I was at Avicii at the Itunes Festival!
He certainly knows how to get the crowd going although I was a little disappointed! I though he played too many Bootlegs and not enough of his own material!
Although when he dropped Duck Sauce and the Clash it was great
6.5/10

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
Great night last night with jack Johnson at iTunes.
I can say I was huge fan but boy can he sing. Really good fun.
Have to say highlight was the guy who played keyboard xylophone harmonica and pretty much every other instrument he could find. He was fab. Such fun personality came out
Not as busy as artic monkeys. And when we moved to side of stage. We had prefect view. No nobody in front of us

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
For those of you who are Audience Club members, they have (free) tickets (apart from £2.50 admin fee) available Friday and Saturday for Rod Stewart at the O2 at Greenwich. I have not put this on the 'Free theatre/concert' thread as last time I did for major AC offer I just got grief.
