A bit off-topic but I was actually reading on Twitter a few days ago that one of the cinemas was showing Iron Giant son. Of course I don't remember which one Tweeted it, maybe someone else does? I think it was Cineworld or Showcase if that helps at all.
The Gate Cinema are showing it.

I saw it a month ago at a music festival in the cinema tent at 11am. There were loads of kids who watched it and kept quiet the entire time. It was wonderful. It deserved to be a bigger hit than it was.

Well this should have been great, however i noticed a few changes in the film, the music at times just wasn't quite right and the 3D had a couple of stand out bits i think someone already mentioned the bird at the beginning, i was a bit disappointed with this i guess i expect more from Disney maybe i was in a bad mood because my 3yr stuck her hand in the cup holder at the side of her chair she ended up covered in some sort of brown semi liquid yukky stuff that had clearly been there a while and being a typical 3yr old she then put her hand in her mouth and spent the first 10 minutes of the film gagging then i spent the rest of the film trying to make sure she diddn't put her hand anywhere again :nono:

I saw Lion King 2D when I was a really little child and loved it. But, I think some films are too good to be made into 3D. It feels like Disney are just trying to milk out as much money as possible and some movies are good enough to not need to be made 3D - such as The Lion King :)

It took Odeon a month to write back a non-sensical reply to my complaint about the gallery seating. I then involved Disney and it took them under a week to send me two Odeon vouchers in the post. o/

Moral of the story: Know who best to complain to.
