Yeah. Who needs all these US imports when we've got homegrown stuff to get excited about. Although I'd go for Downton Abbey on Sunday over Spooks (haven't watched this weeks ep yet). Did anyone else watch it? I thought it was one of the best dramas I've seen all year. Great acting. Excellent script. Classy stuff all round.

I wasn't able to watch Downton Abbey on Sunday, Kevin. Do you know whether it is repeated during the week? I'd like to watch it, but it isn't my husband's thing.

It's repeated on Sunday afternoon on ITV1 at 16.50 and it's available online on the ITV player anytime. Well worth watching.

Well hopefully it'll pick up soon.
This will be the last season so it better be good. Saying that, I wasn't particularly impressed with season 6 either....

Perhaps you are right.... I checked this information a while ago. I'm shocked they'd take this to season 8. It has been good but not THAT good. Hope it starts getting better then...

For those interested 'The Event' starts on Channel 4 on Friday 22nd October. Quite odd for Channel 4 to be premiering a US show these days. They usually show them on E4 or More4 first.

The next series of Chuck is moving to Living TV and starts next thursday night. This means that its no longer available on freeview, and as its not a free channel it won't be on freesat either.
