Manchester was packed too. I know it was an action film but my goodness it was virtually none stop from start to finish, I'm not really an action film person but only went because it had Gerard Butler in it (pleasant to watch)

plus the brilliant Morgan Freeman. 7/10

I am with LondonCityNights on this. I won't got into it much as LCN has a quite eloquent review.
And it is not that I don't mind big 'splosions etc and the kind of stuff satirised by the film Idiocracy. but this was objectionable rubbish.
I went with teen boys and they loved it. I kept debating with myself should i just walk out and sit outside (it is not like you couldn't guess the ending). I stayed as i know they boys would misbehave if i left them to their own devices...

You can only justify watching this if -
1. you are drunk and/or treat it as a complete satire to be laughed at all the way through (none of which humour is intended by the movie btw).
2. you are happy to watch a very stupid movie so that you can enjoy the few loud, decent action sequences.
3. you are stupid.
I agree with this 100%, I can't believe all the praise it's getting here. Have you all lost your minds?
Here's my full review:

It's not only an absolutely terrible film, it's also morally repellent.

I really enjoyed this movie, because it has a story line and good action plus for the first time the villain wasnt from the middle east
7.0/10
**spoiler** Is this movie sending a political message, "we got Gerard Butler, and he can kick your ass's solo"

Bit of unbelievable story line... but good action scenes and good acting by Gerald Butler...
I would go with 7.5/10....

I saw this in Cardiff on March 26th i really enjoyed it, lots of action. I don't think you could get bored with it. A couple of good twists. The cinema was almost full so that was good too see too :)

I saw this movie at the Birmingham New Street Odeon, not the best birmingham cinema as the screens are a little small. But soon enough I didn't even care nor notice. The action was great and Gerard Butler was superb (Think I underestimated him a little before) he was kicking butt all over the place and not in that gross cheesy way, would definitely watch it again. I think if this movie does suffer it will be down to the promotion of the film I only heard about it through the my use of free ticket sites, I watched the trailer before viewing and honestly it didn't sell it as much as other movie tend to, which in my opinion is why most people were so surprised it was so good. People should really give it a go though! Would totally give it a
(high) 8 out of 10

Take it for what it was, it was just like an old school action flick. So-so plot, average acting, cheesy in parts, high body count, lots of explosions... basically everything the latest Die Hard film should've been but wasn't... and for those reasons, I fully enjoyed it!
Packed house at Islington. It still amazes me when people come in late yet walk up to the back expecting to find a pair of seats together.

Yes it was packed in Islington wasn't it! I was surprised as I thought most people would have seen it.
I enjoyed it, but it could have been half an hour shorter. If Denzel had been Michael matters would have finished an hour earlier as he would have kicked ass a bit quicker.
