Use every bit of your printer ink: If your printer suddenly runs out of ink just take the cartridge out and use the hair dryer to heat it. Often the ink is clogged and the hot air softens it and lets the ink flow. Use the cartridge while it’s still warm.

Fresh fragrance for your clothes: Place fabric softener sheets in dresser drawers and your clothes will smell freshly washed for weeks to come. You can also do this with towels and linen.
More tips next week :) have a great weekend!

It would be even better if you could capture that "just dried outside smell on washing"!

It will probably smell nothing like the real thing thoughMcG wrote:moviemannn wrote:Fresh fragrance for your clothes: Place fabric softener sheets in dresser drawers and your clothes will smell freshly washed for weeks to come. Some more handy tips and tricks :)
Sticking back together a torn page: To put back together two pieces of paper (e.g. the page of a book) without any tape, just use a little paintbrush and apply some egg white on the edges of the pages that have been torn apart. Let it dry.

Clean a burnt saucepan with washing powder and vinegar: Put a good handful of washing powder and about half a cupful of vinegar in the pan and add water. Cover it with a lid or foil, bring it slowly to the boil and simmer for a while. Leave to soak, then wash as usual.

Using chalkboard eraser for foggy windshield: Don't you hate having a foggy windshield? Go to your stationery store and b*y a chalkboard eraser. Keep the eraser in your glove compartment of your car. When the windows fog, rub with the eraser! Works better than a cloth!

Keeping your laces done: it is very annoying when your shoes keep coming undone. To prevent that from happening, just humidify your laces before lacing your shoes. When the water evaporates, the knot will tighten.

Removing ink stains on shirts: An ink stain on your shirt will promptly disappear if you rub it with milk, and then put your shirt in the washing machine.
