Yes, in Romford they had two makeover salons cleverly placed in the way of getting to the lift, disability be damned, beauty is better, apparently... It was actually used though.

Went to see this tonight ,thoroughly enjoyed it.Meryl streep was superb in the role.I also thought her husbands character was very good.Thought it more of a film to go to with girl friends rather than husbands.

I was at Ocean Terminal tonight but I didn't see the Marie Claire makeover stand. Must have walked past it but no one was obviously promoting it.

I enjoyed the film but Meryl Streep kept reminding me of Hyacinth Bucket with that funny voice, and her actions. Agree with others that her story was more interesting than Julie's story. Some funny moments but the girl sitting two seats along from me seemed to think everything was hilarious and kept saying loudly "I love it, I love it" which was most annoying.

It was at the left hand side of where they take your tickets before the escalators - where the pick n' mix used to be.

There was no-one at it when I went in nor when i left and they didn't seem to be trying very hard to get anyone in either

First seefilmfirst movie, and first post - been lurking for quite sometime. So double firsts tonight. Went to see movie with girlfriend, and thought it was quite entertaining. As strange as it sounds coming from a bloke, I did enjoy the show for it's fairly light-hearted theme, and certain aspects quoted by Amy Adams' character resonates to a degree with me, as I do enjoy cooking, putting some thought, effort and heart into it, and can be quite therapeutic after a day in the office. Good way to relax - sort of! While I do agree on comments that it may be a bit more of a chick flick, it's sufficiently "neutral".

I went to see it today at Lea Valley Odeon with my boyfriend. We both enjoyed it. Mind you, I probably enjoyed it a bit more than he did lol. I liked it and thought that it was quite funny. 7.5/10 from me.

This film was so sweet. I really enjoyed watching it. Not to mention all the lovely food! I came out of the cinema hungry!

Saw this last night with my OH, she didn't think that much of it. Felt that streep has done better movies. Me, well I expected more as well, I guess with streep having had so much success in the last few years, you felt more might come.
It was a light hearted movie with some funny parts in there, worth a watch I would say

LOL, sorry Beate but it does sound funny! I hope he didn't forget to apologise!
Oh I can't tell you how funny that was, everytime I think of it I start laughing all over again, sorry must be my warped sense of humour. Tee hee...........
