What does "stack overflow at line:14" mean? I get it all the time now when I move around my yahoo email, and it's not computerbound, I got it from the work computer too.

A stack overflow is when an assigned memory area, which has a maximum memory allowance defined elsewhere, is being overloaded with data. Line 14 is the offending line in the program, although it may be only the proverbial straw and the worst culprit is elsewhere. As to which program is giving this error, you will have a much better idea than me, although from your description its on Yahoo's system not yours.

So not much I can do then? It doesn't prevent me from using the programme, it's just annoying.

Thinking about it a bit more, Stacks are usually defined in a config.sys file in a DOS based environment. I'm surprised that this error has appeared at all!

Maybe its a browser issue. I know you said its not computer bound but are you by any chance using the same Internt Explorer version at both work and home? Try logging into Yahoo email in another browser such as Firefox or Chrome, do you get the same error?

Anyone using internet email such as Yahoo, Google, Hotmail etc should get into the habit of cleaning your emails or at the very least, move all your older emails out of Inbox into another folder. Reason for doing this is when you log on, the default folder will be your Inbox and if its quite large, your mailbox may become susceptible to errors. I'm saying this through experience to be honest as I dont think its a common advice but it makes sense if you think about it.

Also give your browser a clean by selcting Tools-Options then delete temporary files and cookies (deleting cookies will also remove stored settings of some websites).

Do you have a VR headset? If so, maybe we can play a physical sports game or even be sports/fitness partners, hit me up if you keen.

There are never more than 25 emails in my inbox. However, I have a lot in subfolders so have tried to reduce them a bit earlier on and the error message seems to have stopped for now - let's hope that was it!

If you are using Word (at the top of the page) select Format, Paragraph, then Line spacing - select double space from the drop down menu

Can anyone help please? I have a netbook that I use for my emails and last night when I logged on the whole screen was suddenly taken up by DR GUARD who informed me I had a trojan virus and I needed to activate their software - at a price - to get rid of it.

I cannot move it off my screen and cannot get access any other part of my netbook to get rid of it. Has this ever happened to anyone else and what is the solution?
