Loved it loved it loved it loved it loved it. It's not my favourite Bond film, I think that honour would go to 'Casino Royale' as it was the first one I saw in the cinema! Sadly I've only seen that once all the way through because my mum always insists in skipping past the torture sequence (I wonder why). But this was brilliant. It was totally different to what I was expecting and it really felt like a Sam Mendes film! The best thing was, that didn't bother me at all. In fact, I loved the way that it explored the characters of M and Bond whilst never abandoning the action sequences, and throwing us back to classic Bond. The Aston Martin DB5 was a personal highlight. I definitely have to see this again. 9/10

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

I saw this last night at the MetroCentre - the 8.30pm screening was full - great atmosphere and buzz among the North East audience.
I absolutely loved it. It had just the right mix of everything Bond - car chases, explosions, fighting, humour, beautiful girls, exotic locations, and Daniel Craig. I thought the lead actors were excellent. I'm going to see this again.

9/10 from me. (May revise this)

SAw this finally yesterday in Vue Extreme Westfield with a voucher

what can I say? I totally loved it. I grew up with Bond, my first film in the cinema was Dr No ( not sure why at 5 years old I was watching such stuff :nono:) so Bond was always in my blood and apart from the Roger Moore years (a bit too hokey for me) I've loved them all.

Each Bond was great for the time they were made, and now we are back to austerity again and a more stripped down lo-tech Bond.

Everyone involved was amazing. The Stunt team was fantastic, no more rubbish CGI action scenes (as I know quite a few Stuntmen and Women, my heart swelled with pride at that massive cast list).

Deakins and Mendes worked their magic as usual. There were so many scenes and images that I could watch again and again. My favs being the boats sailing into Macau and Shanghai which were beautiful and so Bondian, London has never looked better apart from The Apprentice ;) and I wanted to go to Scotland there and then.

Magnificent cast, can't fault it, although I wasn't too keen on Berenice and really hated her nails (its a girl thing).

Loved the Opening Credits and the song was fine, not the best and not the worst.

I was fretting a bit
with the lack of the gunbarrel at the opening, but, the way it was done in the end was so fitting, and when it says Bond will be Back or something like that, made me feel like a kid again
8/10

btw I had a dream last night I was doing a thesus on Bond themes and songs
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Sorry forgot to add this:

There's my full thoughts. They went to some dark places in this film, much more serious than any other Bond film I've seen. So James Bond is a rapist now huh? It's an interesting place to go, but I think an honest one considering how he treats women.

I saw this on Thursday at the extreme screen in Stratford Westfield and it really impressed me. It lacks the light-heartedness of the classic versions, but i really did like the realism of this one, and the occasional winks to the originals. Craig was the best he's been for me, and Judi Dench gets a really good story, which takes precedence here. Love the Adele sequence, the Istanbul motorcycle chase, and the explosive scene in the underground. If you're looking for them, there's obvious parallels with Nolan's Batman series. I think that's why it especially entertained me. 9/10

Goldfinger's still my favourite!
