Was your one in 3D? Having watched it in 3D, I'm not sure if I would enjoy it a second time round without 3D!

thats exactly why i scored it 7.5/10.......I was so excited to be going to my first ever 3D film only to watch it in 2D.
The youngest Boop did however score it at a 16/10 lol

So really it's a 10/10 in 2D then?!!!
I must say it was brilliant in 3D - they ruined it for you by showing it in 2D!!! Naughty cinema!

yeah I took a point off for only getting it in 2D, it mightn't have been so bad if we didn't know there's a 3D version out there. Maybe it's a ruse to get you to p*y to see it again but in 3D?
when I first got to the cinema I thought for one moment we might be getting 3D as they directed us to one of the main screens at the odeon not the usual screening ones, but then no sign of glasses being handed out so realised there wasn't

yeah....film was great but disapointed i didnt get a go of the glasses...gateshead doesnt do 3D but Boldon does and the last few screening have been at Boldon so felt slightly disapointed they couldnt of shown us it in a cinema that could offer it!

That's rubbish and annoying - I automatically assumed all cinemas provide 3D viewings. Especially after seeing the quality of the trailers. Although I would watch it again, I wouldn't want to watch it in 2D (knowing it exists in 3D!). I guess in that case your scoring is fair.
for a good 3D screening in Boldon for you guys.

Saw the movie today and absolutely loved it too... The detailing as so many ppl have pointed out earlier in this forum was amazing...specific case in point being the old man's stubble growing as they embark on the adventure...IMO, some of the action sequences were a little scary for audiences of 4-7 yrs but overall the kids in my show in Reading completely enjoyed the movie... Good family fun !! Pity we saw it in 2d - hmmm, am actually catching it again in 3D.. might be worthwhile...
Pardon me if I sound a little thick but can 3D glasses from another movie (G-Force) be used to watch Up in 3D....

I saw this today at Gateshead also and was quite relieved I was not the only person without kids that went to see this. I thought this film was fab, great storyline... however I dont think it was for smaller kids a heard a couple wondering why the wife was crying so they may not have got the whole story which thought was very emotional.. shed a sneaky tear in a couple of parts. Even the boyfriend enjoyed this.... 9/10 for sure.
