I don't care much about football, but "Six and the City" trending made me smile.. a lot!

I don't really but there's something not right about City beating United. I like Alex Ferguson as a person as he takes no nonsense and is honest.

well done City, but people have short memories if they think thats the worst United have suffered since 51. We tore them apart 5-0 in 96, which is more of an annihilation than 6-1, I reckon.

still, noone is going to get near beating them over the season without spending massively over several years as they have, so it might well be a consolation for losing the title chance for Man City once again.

anyways, a solid 1-0 over poor little Wigan sees us maintain our top four place, so I chuffed as a bee.

I think poor Fred gets hugged so Brian can cover his eyes with him at times, Tilly! Fred is a massive dog. A nice change that I'll be able to watch MOTD tonight though I figure Cliveas will be giving it a miss.

I confess to not being able to remember who won that every year. Of course I know who won it (or the Community Shield as it is now) this year - I was there.
