Ending of Sherlock was perfect. I'm really hoping not 2 years until the next one.

Golden Globes upset me at times and delighted me at times. Best Original Song was a joke. But glad for American Hustle, and for 12 Years a Slave winning Best Drama.

Also really happy for Leo, if the awards are going to shut out Chiwetel Ejiofor (seriously, what was that about!? McConaughey was good, but not as good as him) then I hope top prize goes to him. He certainly deserves it.

We saw the first episode of Hostages last week and it was good. Though after seeing the episode I saw the trailer for the programme and most of the trailer came from the first episode. Only thing I don't quite understand is how will they keep the suspense and tension in a 42 or so minute episode for the length of a season (15 episodes). Especially when the deed (i.e the operation) is happening soon.

Nah it goes downhill very quickly. The series is 15 episodes long and that is far too many. I became quite indifferent by the time I watched the finale.

I was kinda of hoping it won't. But the whole concept reeks that it could have been a great film worthy of about 110 minutes long.

just finishing Strictly Dancing 2013. Not surprised Clancy won it, whilst I don't think shes any better than Natalie or Susan or even Patrick, shes got the face that spells confidence/arrogance so shes always going to look confident despite her varying levels of dancing ability each week. Importantly she got stronger towards the end of the show, which was the smart way to perform, treating the show like a marathon rather than a sprint.

I have no idea why Ellis-Baxtor got to the final week, shes certainly not bad but she SLOW. She cant keep up with anything that's danced over a slow pace. Now Susan was great although a bit in your face with her excessive gurning, but her dancing was never weak - was she ever in a dance-off?

Finally surely Natalie was the most consistent? If the show was measured on an aggregate result over 13 weeks, she's the clear winner. But I guess shes not a got a models face, and it may well have cost her the win.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Sleepy Hollow finale.

Loved it, despite the fact that I predicted the big reveal a few minutes before it happened.

Interesting way to end it, can't wait for next series.

Right I have the couple of episodes of The Tomorrow People, Played and Hostages recorded. Having read Hostages just gets dull has made me not really want to continue watching it. However what about the other two?

I can't comment on Played as I haven't seen it but The Tomorrow People is OK, easily watchable but nothing special (quite similar to Smallville).
