Seefilmfirst VIP membership.
June: San Andreas (7/10), Danny Collins (9/10)
Re: Seefilmfirst VIP membership.
Like to see it put into practice first, don't understand how they will only allow people who have printed off the tickets into the shows instead of being able to pass it on. Unless they are specifically going to get the employees to check ID? Sounds complicated and with the amount of free films/shows I've seen in the past two years without VIP membership, unnecessary.

At first, i thought brilliant. Then realised the only reason i go see half the films... is well... cause they are free!

Re: Seefilmfirst VIP membership.
iused to subscribe to the txt message thing. You are supposed to get advance notice of the screenings. I got a couple of texts, then nothing for a while then loads of shows which I wasn't interested in.

Re: Seefilmfirst VIP membership.
I think it's pointless. How many people are they going to allow to join this service? We can just request tickets on FMUK anyway.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.
Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Re: Seefilmfirst VIP membership.
LOL what makes them think they can get the codes to the VIP members before the FMUK get them?

Re: Seefilmfirst VIP membership.
I think this is different to the standard VIP membership.
We have a new system in place that means VIP codes cannot be shared and tickets are only available to guest who receives the email.
Do people remember the Chalet Girl code a few weeks ago which came up with a weird message about an exclusive guest list and would not allow anyone to book tickets?
I think SFF are boosting their security so even if a code gets posted online, unless the email address is the guest list, it will be useless to the majority of people.

oh dear that sounds onimous
Re: Seefilmfirst VIP membership.
My issue with this is say you do join, what if SFF end up deleting your account (as they are quite prone to doing)? Then what.funthing29 wrote:I think this is different to the standard VIP membership.
