Great Ormond Street

#1 Post by andrews » Thu Dec 29, 2011 9:53 am

I don't know whether you've already seen this, or indeed, if someone else has posted it on this forum, but Disney are contributing up to £1 million to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity. For every memory submitted in December, they will donate £10 (£1 for months outside December). We can all help by submitting our Disney memories by one of the means below:

http://www.gosh.org/gen/disney/news-arc ... ry-shared/

add it to the Disney barometer on Facebook

email it to million@disney.co.uk

send a tweet to @_DisneyMemories

A very simple way to help a very worthy cause! :D

I've just sent my e-mail. It took me two minutes. :D

The very first Disney film I saw was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. What was yours?

I did see it,but thank you.
e-mailed mine.

just put....................

the best memory has to be Beauty and The Beast at pictures in poole.
we just made it in and it was full,so had to sit right down the front looking up at the screen.
what a lovely film.
and as the titles came up and the music started ..... my partner danced with me in the big space at the front of the seats and the screen.
just magic.....thank you.

Thanks for this andrews. Great and easy way to make some money for a good cause. First memory for me was The Mickey Mouse Club on TV in the USA back in the 1950s. Good grief, I'm ancient!

I wrote about the 1st time I persuaded my parents to come to Disneyworld. My dad flirted with all the Disney Princesses and my mum hugged all the characters!

Yes I did mine too. I also put Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as I couldn't remember if that was the first disney I had seen. I know the first time I went to the cinema was with my mother to see Calamity Jane with Doris Day - and you think you are ancient ejwrank!!

Hopefully more people will do this before December ends! :cross:

We could make this our Fmuk charity of the week!
Come on, Fmukers! :star: :star: :star:
Make Disney give £10 to Great Ormond Street Hospital!
It costs you nothing but at £10 a time it's worth the 2 minutes it will take you to do! o/
