Trouble with the curve

Poor Clint, his last few films haven't really done very well. I still have high hopes for this one, I think something less ambitious in scope will suit him well at the moment. I even like the poster, it's understated and elegant.

Me, too, I hope this one is good for him. I've even forgiven him speaking in support of Mitt Romney (especially as it was so embarrassing) and that awful reality series his wife has allowed to be filmed - Mrs Eastwood and Company. I couldn't believe this was the Mrs Eastwood at first - why do people continually seem to think that they can come off well on TV in this kind of show?

The signs are pretty good, some nice reviews coming out for the film. Maybe it was a good idea to ask Clint to take a break from the directing.

I agree, the man still looks good enough to lead a movie, suprising when most other octo-actors have long gone down uglystick street.

street I'm familiar with lol, so ha.

Not long now before this is out (30 November) but I've heard very little about it and not seen a trailer - is that a bad sign? Starring Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams and John Goodman.

Here's my review, which is kinder on the film than most have been: http://londonfilmfanatiq.com/2012/11/28 ... the-curve/

Also this, just because it's true:
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.
