FAVOURITE FILM OF ALL TIME

#1 Post by msullivan667 » Thu Sep 24, 2009 10:06 pm

:D :D :D :D
Hi Guys and Dolls,

I was 'Home Alone' and I thought what is my favourite film of all time?
Answers on a postcard!

In case anyone is interested mine is Logan's Run, it was way ahead of it's time and I liked the crytal in the hand. Mine would have turned red and I would be on my way to the carousel.
My Old Bosses was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (seriously!!!)
I thought Michael York was "truly scrumptious"

So play the game play the game play the game. :muhaha:

I remember Logan's Run. Didn't they all die on their 30th birthday or something, and Jenny Agutter was in it :D

I find it impossible to have a favourite film of all time as I haven't seen it yet ;)

recent films that I've liked:
JCVD
Bronson
Coraline

For absolute feel good entertainment, my favourite is Back to the Future

For pure atmospheric immersion, Its Blade Runner

Jaws is my favourite blockbuster.

Pulp Fiction is my favourite indie film with the most memorable moments than any other film I can think of.

City Lights is my favourite weepy movie.

Some Like it Hot is my favourite comedy.

Night of the Hunter is my favourite thriller.

Sixth Sense my favourite Spooky film.

Wizard of Oz is my favourite childrens film.

But if I am only allowed to give 1 film as my favourite then its hands down, The Empire Strikes Back.

OK, I craftily gave my top ten films, lol.

F3lix, did you just give away the ending to Logan's Run??? I havent seen it and I guess I should head over to the "Famous films you havent seen thread" lol.

Garden State, to me it's a very funny yet wonderfully emotional piece, though I've found it's not for everyone.
