GI Joe: Retaliation

The action franchise returns to the big screen with action mega stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Bruce Willis joining the cast of GI Joes. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The film stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson.

This was crap. Loud, stupid and rather boring. Ridiculous, barely coherent plot and unexplained characters make the "story" nonsensical. The cheesy attempts at humour were cringeworthy.

The first GI Joe film looks like a work of art in comparison to this. 3/10.

I got a bit lost and wasn't even sure who was good and who was bad at one point! My 10 year old son would have liked this though, just for the explosion factor!
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!
