The Crown 2

The showing of THE CROWN 2 (first two episodes), two days ahead of NETFLIX release, at the Guildford Odeon thanks to showfilmsfirst, as highlighted via FMUK, last night (6/12/17) was excellent. I learnt a good deal about the Suez Crisis and Prince Philip's five month tour representing the queen on Britannia, with interesting speculative accounts of what might have gone on. Parts of it clearly weren't verified history, just guesswork, but compelling viewing for all that. Even though I have met the Duke of Edinburgh, he's now lodged in my head as Matt Smith / Dr Who ! (with a beard ... you'll have to watch the second episode of THE CROWN 2, to see what I mean...). Thanks enormously FMUK. NB the cinema was half empty, even tho' it was a smaller one in the complex; he accepted a bar code from my phone (printer had broken at a bad time), and all others there were, for some reason, without exception, over ~~70.
