Gripping death row/courtroom/black injustice drama. Really tense and engrossing. You are routing for justice throughout, and can feel the frustration and tension to get justice, regardless of race or income. Excellently told and performed by Michael B. Jordon (also one of the producers), Brie Larson and Jamie Foxx.
Based on a true story, and it is unbelievable how innocent black men were put on death row before they are proved guilty.
Stay for the credits to see the real life persons, and their stories, eg. 30 years on death row before being released. Incredible.
And no Oscar nominations either. Says it all.
