Loved the film. Douglas definitely outshone Damon, who was really a bit too old to convincingly play an 18 year old. Of course Douglas camped it up, but then so did Liberace!

good wuxia, but it is wuxia so if you aren't a fan of the genre then not for you. Thanks for that, I now know the significance of the 'wuxia' in the title (it ain't a postcode then!). I think it's the swordsmanship aspect of the 'xia' that made it so unpleasant for me to watch. Then that's just me ...

I think this is one strictly for the devotees of blood-curdling martial arts (hacked off ears, arms; throat cutting, etc) movies. Others should stay away, maybe. Wish I had! The plot, such as it was, seemed utterly irrelevant.

Ideal Disney film for kids. A bit disappointing for we older generation brought up on BBC and David Attenborough. Perhaps expecting more of a documentary. Documentary it certainly ain't. The film was carefully edited (contrived?) to reflect various story lines, with a voiceover particularly grating ...
