the-mental-one wrote:I will be helping to run the Sci-Fi London Easter parade as well as other aspects of the event, but the parade is for people to dress up and well, parade, in an orderly fashion and is basically good fun if you're into that kind of thing, or you can just come and watch the people who have dressed up. Some of the events are free including the parade and you can find out more at their website http://www.sci-fi-london.com/

Pretty good so far, was expecting today to be somewhat quiet with a jog to the cinema in the morning to watch some flying 3D terasaurs but my lazy friend decided to join me, and afterwards, in a spur of the moment decision, we decided to go and queue for 2hrs 45min and fork out £28.80 each to enter Madam tussauds (we specifically wanted to check out the 4d Marvel ride). As we queued, 3 more of our friends decided to join us. I'm glad they did because as a group we kind of enjoyed Tussauds even more (even the queue time goes by quickly when you're with company). We laughed ourselves silly through the "Scream" attraction that was basically dark corridors with people jumping out going "BOO". It was our 2 girlfriend companions who were doing all the screaming which freaked us out, rather than the "scary" people. The 4D Marvel ride was certainly fun but not anywhere comparable to the "no expenses spared" attractions in Florida's Disney World & Universal Studios. The audio was very bad and muffled that I couldnt really undertstand what the characters were saying. Much of the Waxworks were not bad, some not so good but its the presentation of the Waxworks which makes the experience more fun for everyone. We spent 2 hours in there alogether including the 3 sub attraction rides. All in all, Madam Tussauds is fun for the family, not cheap but it delivers a good quality fun experience.

Hope everyone else is having a great Easter so far :)
