The Wolfman

#1 Post by tibba » Wed Sep 02, 2009 3:05 am

Thought this might be pretty good:

Reminds me of the good old-fashioned set up for Sherlock Holmes - Hound of the Baskervilles (which I absolutely love).

You would have thought that this would have been better released during the darker winter months, such as now nearing Halloween or December (to coincide with the Christmas Ghost stories and such like - my favourite), not planned for near enough Valentine's Day (or do they have a sense of humour!)

Was worried this might come off as overly 'hammy' but I'll definitely be checking it out when it's released, looks good

I can understand your concerns, as there is potential to veer towards this if not done properly, but I don't think that this will be the case with this film. At least, I hope not.

I quite fancy seeing The Wolfman, I guess I should go and get an NUS card again!

Looking forward to this, been following it since 2006/2007, remember seeing a clip and posters up in '08, glad it's firmly settled on next month now.

I saw a trailer for this in the cinema and spontaneously disliked it.

It looks so much better than Van Helsing and Benicio Del toro isn't the kind of actor to sell out to a big Holllywood film (here's hoping....)

absolutely. i have heard its a little boring when the Wolfman is not around from a few very early reviews before the final film has even been cut, although they are prob type of people who, unless its car crashes and things throughout they dont care for it.
