Re: Win Win
I was at the Fulhame screening which was half empty...but it was delayed to 8pm start so some people couldnt stay. Also it was a small screen. Having said that, this screen at Fulham is a very lovely screening room. The seats are stacked steeply so not even Usain Bolt's head will get in your way. Chairs are comfy. Sound system is good except their rear speakers are not exactly at the back but on the side wall close to the back. So 3 speakers are all placed on each side wall.

Re: Win Win
I think it had a slow start but I really grew to enjoy it. I even liked the wrestling and the dedication Kyle showed when he had a fairly stable environment. One of my cousins who grew up in the States, wrestled in his high school and followed US collegiate wrestling when he came here so I appreciated that Kyle was a big deal when they said was an Ohio State star. But I would agree with what others have said, I didn't really see it as a wrestling film at all.
I thought there were good performances throughout. Even Kyle, whose slightly wooden performance could be disguised by the 'he's playing a typical teenager stereotype'. But to tell you the truth he was probably my favourite character (I liked his self-styled wrestling move!).
Good to see Bobby Cannavale again (loved him in Third Watch), although I did find his character a bit strange. Also was Kyle's Mum Rose from Two and a Half Men?
I'd say that this film takes time to get going but it is a sweet story where both the good and bad sides of human nature are explored. Some lessons are learnt the hard way, but perhaps all for the better. 7.5/10 - If it had a better start, I would have probably rated it more highly.
My cinema was also only about 50% full from what I could see, sorry some people were turned away elsewhere.

Re: Win Win
They really should use the line "The indie version of the Blindside". That sold it to me!
Although I really should have gone to Julia's Eyes or Wonderland that night, instead of being told at Shepherd's Bush, we are full

Even though it is not the indie version of The Blind Side at all? Metro gives it three stars too.

I enjoyed this. All the actors did their thing well, the story was ok even though it reminded me of The Blind Side and there were some good laughs.
