Yeah they're going to have to mix it up for Part III. Part II could just about get away with it because it was the joke was in the silliness that exactly the same thing was going to happen again. They can't do that joke again or it really would be flat, so they're going to have to find a new idea, although obviously they're constrained by the fact a hangover and ridiculous antics will have to take place! Hopefully they will think of something good because no doubt a third will happen and I will watch it!

Really enjoyed the first one so looking forward to this one.
Very disappointing. very few laughs and I just found it very crude. Alan was my favourite character as he did make me smile a couple of times. I really hope they don't do a third 8O
5/10 from me

Caught this Sunday night at the Camden Town Odeon (in screen one which, incidentally, smelled like a toilet). There was a pretty big turn out and I still can't understand why people p*y more for the "premiere" seats. The normal tickets were £10.65 each (yes, for a non-central London location, insane!), but thank the giant kitten in the sky for vouchers.

Anyway, the film would be great... if the first Hangover film never existed. I cannot believe how blatantly they ripped themselves off. The lack of effort put into this is the worst thing about the film. They clearly just banked on the audience turning out to see this based on the success of the first one (and correct they were), but I do think the end result is an insult to anyone who pa*d for this and has seen the first. It's lazy and shows zero artistic integrity.

That aside, it's not horrible or boring. It has its moments, though there is a lot that is overly crude. I honestly cannot understand how or why anyone would like the character of Alan after this film. He's much more of a dick than I remember him being in the first one and he deserves a proper beating in this one. Ken Jeong is fantastically insane but I wasn't feeling Paul Giamatti in his brief role. The Tyson cameo is utterly pointless. They missed a golden opportunity but not having him say "It's looks ridiculous" when addressing Stu's tattoo.

The photos during the credits were funnier than the rest of the film put together, so at least there's there. I'm giving this a 6/10. It would be higher if there was a hint of originality to it.

Is the movie still funny? Yes, it is funny and there are indeed some standout moments. But, all the freshness and originality of the first Hangover is definitely not present but still it is not a very bad movie..must go for it :-)

I think it's a safe bet they will do one more, as part 2 is already making truckloads of cash.

And lining up the same writer. Expect even more of the same then. There needs to be a big thumbs down smiley.

I am really looking forward to the second part to Hangover, however like most films the second and third never compare to the first , saying that i still believe that there will be a few good laughs here and there , any film including Zach Galifianakis (Alan) always cracks me up :D
Cant wait to see it , but the first hangover is a MUST SEE , for those who havent . Definetly one of my favourite films !
Thankyou!
