And lining up the same writer. Expect even more of the same then. There needs to be a big thumbs down smiley.
Haven't seen it yet - so cannot comment but how about this for a thumbs down smiley.

Saw this at Wandsworth on Sunday and the two closest screening were sold out and the third had about three left it did not add up because we were five.
So we b*ght tickets for the fourth one and left to go and eat.

I don't think the Hangover is the Godfather and I don't think the Hangover 2 is the Godfather Part 2 either. It's a ridiculous plot with no semblance of reality in it really. The first one is closer to reality in that Vegas is a reachable destination in which Americans can have a crazy time. Bangkok is mostly unreachable and not even really desired as a destination by most of this movie's audience. I will say though that I laughed fairly hard at a bunch of different scenes. I don't think everyone needs to pretend this is shakespeare. It's a nice little funny 2 hour escape movie and nothing more. The first movie will be remembered more and it should be. 5/10
Alan drugs them (again) as he did in the first film. I don't know about you, but if my friend drugged me even once, they wouldn't be my friend anymore. Given his history
Believable, I think not but poor Stu

Its certainly not a turkey, but it lacks in acting and script, yet its still got some good gags (and bad ones too!).

Its not a carbon copy of the first either, which is what a lot of people were saying, but yes the plot is similar to a degree, or it wouldnt be a hangover movie. The grossout factor is maxxed out for this sequel, and you are left wondering if how they can come up with even grosser situations for the next sequel. Mr Chow makes good use of his screen time, hes probably the most fun character in the movie.

Its not as good as the first but its fun enough in fits and starts, and the slower parts of the movie certainly keep your attention. It has more gags than plenty of other supposed comedies this year (eg Your Highness) even if its not a class act itself. 7/10

and Mr Gambiatta is putting on the pounds, goodness!

I used a wowcher to see this and despite a few laughs, the film felt a bit flat. It did not have the originality of the first one. Whereas the first one was crediblte that a couple of drunk guys were trying to piece together the events of the night before, this one felt more like a detective adventure with the hangover plot line in the background. The movie relies too heavily on crudeness and cringeworthy moments rather than well written jokes. I haven't seen the first movie for a while, but Alan was not adorable or charming here, he was downright irritating here. The photo sequence over the credits was definitely the highlight of the film.

Loved Mr Chow and it's a shame Liam Neeson's cameo was cut out. I don't think the sequel comes close to the brilliance of the original. 5/10.

I watched this on Tuesday with the free wowcher ticket. It was funny, but was too similar to the first one.

I don't think a third one would work, how different could it be?

Used a Wowcher voucher to see this and while it's funny, it's just too similar to the first one but not quite as funny to be a total success.

It was a laugh though!

I used my wowcher last night on this film too and totally agree with you the whole film was as flat as a pancake!
I had really low expectations and even then this was disappointing. There was just absolutely no valid reason or storyline to make this sequel apart from the $$$ signs that the studio executive saw. Alan was very obnoxious and there really wasn't a single character that you care about. 4/10

I don't think I've been to the Odeon High street kensington for a very long time. Screen 3 is miles up! with many many flights of stairs. It's not very access-friendly, is it?

I too used my Wowcher to see this and was glad I hadn't pa*d the full ticket cost. I must admit I did enjoy the 1st film but this is a VERY sad follow-on. Shame!

Finally came round to seeing this on DVD (borrowed by the way). What a disappointment! I had really enjoyed the first one but I thought part 2 was actually quite boring and badly scripted. Some of the dialogue made me cringe. It was not so much deja vu but what were they thinking? Can't believe they are stretching it to a part 3!

No wayyyyyyyy. I didn't think the 2nd one was all that (very boring) that a 3rd one needs to be created.
