The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee
The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee
I saw this today, free, courtesy of one of the Cineworld vouchers I was given after the debacle of the "Bargain Tuesday". I was delighted to be able to use a voucher at a West End cinema and for a weekend screening, as I was extracting maximum value and there's no way I'd have pa*d the £9.80 it would otherwise have cost. No surprises, but I enjoyed the film, though I seem to be seeing rather a lot of Alan Arkin suddenly (Marley And Me, Sunshine Cleaning and now this). Robin Wright Penn, however, doesn't seem to appear often enough, but maybe I'm just not aware of her other work. It was strange that another actress played the younger Pippa Lee, but that for Herb Lee, Alan Arkin was used throughout, albeit with (some) hair for the younger version.

I saw this too and loved it. It was very, very funny at times - it had a really black sense of humour which I liked.
