Is Windsor a nice place to go for a birthday celebration? It will be just the 2 of use, not a huge party or anything, but are there any restaurants/bars anyway?

Oh me too i need to smell some heat. I'm reading 'One Day' at the mo and the descriptions of the Greek Islands are soooooo vivid. :cool:

I'm going to Tenerife for a week, a week on Sunday. I really wanted to go to a Greek Island but unfortunately it was twice the price so I was outvoted by the rest of the group :cry:

It was a really cheap deal, it's going to be hot hot hot and I get a week off work so I shouldn't complain too much.

Have a fab holiday, sometimes when you have low expectations it turns out to be the best holiday ever.

Would be interested to hear about Oxford as I will be doing an overnight stay there in October as you know I love very similar things to yourself.

I think Oxford is lovely but then I also like Cambridge. I am sure you'll have a fab time there.
