Which is your favourite fashion flick?
Re: Which is your favourite fashion flick?
Well, I've voted for two now, with this encouragement! I confess to never having seen "Breakfast At Tiffany's" but comments here make me think I should rent it to see what I've missed. Also, the stage version is just about to open in London (with Anna Friel), so it would be interesting to be able to compare the two. Which has given me an idea for another topic - thank you, Andrews!

Let's face it, I love the 80's but everyone looked stupid back then, what with the shoulder pats and the big hair.![]()
I loved the clothes in Breakfast at Tiffanys, can't wait to see this in the theatre trying to sort out another trip to London.
Was your hair as big as Samantha's, Diane65? - I love those boots!

In 2003 (so post dawn of the GHD's) someone I worked with in the holidays ironed her hair. Literally.Diane65 wrote:Yes I'm afraid so, it still would be today if it wasn't for GHD's
I'd heard of this being done, but thought by the turn of the century that it wouldn't be necessary. Very odd. Oh, and it didn't work. She looked a fright!
