This is fascinating! Fancy learning that Kate Winslet was turned down for not one, but two major roles. Interesting also to learn which roles the stars themselves were offered but rejected. I would find it hard to picture anyone else playing the roles in any of these films, though personally, I would always prefer just about anyone to both Brad Pitt and Leonardo diCaprio.

This makes very interesting reading Cortone. I can't imagine Matthew McConnachey as Jack in Titanic. The chemistry between Leonardo and Kate was wonderful. Perfect couple for this film. And when they say that Bruce Willis, Tom Cruise and several others turned down 'Ghost' because they thought it was too cheesy.... thank goodness Patrick Swazye took the role - can't imagine anyone else in the role.
