I have been to a couple of premieres recently where theyve done and its actually really good for this reason that your not just sitting staring at a blank screen for an hour before the film. cctv is a really bad way to describe it - usually they have a compere talking to the celebs and crowd so its not just a static camerasuperhero wrote:Gosh CCTV coverage, thats like hey you've got a ticket for a world premiere, but you will be so far away from all the stars, we will show it to you on CCTV...They might as well watch it on sky news! I remember the premiere of Fool's Gold where before the film they had a camera trained on the red carpet and showed celebs arriving and being interviewed on the big cinema screen inside which I thought was a nice touch!

Normally yes, but with this film you just suspect because it's in 3 cinemas in Leicester Square, thats why they have precisely used the word CCTV, because if you are in the other 2 cinemas and not the main one, you really won't see much at all.

I've decided that this film will be my first 3DIMAX at Gatesheads spanking new cinema which opens in December!
I love love love christmas films, and this one i think will be great... as it is disney! they are going all out this year!

the trailer just sets up the whole christmas feeling.
it is going to be a must see movie in december (will be on kidscrene by then), shame its out early November as it will get the children all hyped for christmas a whole month before they should be.
the trailer looks like it could be the darkest scrooge we have seen yet. Micheal J Fox voice is in it too the youngest will be happy she loves him in back to the future and stuart little.

Anyone going to the premiere tonight? They've been running alot of comps for it. It should be fun in Regents Street. They are closing the street off for festivities. I think Colin Firth's going and they have singing from Daniel Merriweather. I am working around that area today, so might have a look around. However if the weather keeps up like this, I think the rain might spoil the mood alittle.
