The legendary Sir Bruce Forsyth and glamorous Tess Daly will once again host this BBC One Saturday night extravaganza.
This year, as in previous years, we are operating a random draw to make the allocation of tickets as fair as possible. Phone lines and website registration are now open and will remain open until Sunday 14 August 2011 at 10pm. You can apply at any time between now and Sunday 14 August at 10pm as all successful applications will be drawn at random. No applications will be accepted after this date and time.
Applications for tickets will only be received by phone or via the BBC Tickets Website.
We have a limited amount of seats in the studio and as we have such a huge demand for tickets, we are restricting the amount of tickets and dates that you are eligible for. John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme
John Finnemore, writer and star of Cabin Pressure, regular guest on The Now Show and popper-up in things like Miranda and That Mitchell and Webb Look, prepares for his forthcoming series with this unrecorded afternoon/early evening try-out.
There's no grand theme, it's just half an hour of sketches, each funnier than the last. Although, hang on, that system means starting the whole series with the least funny sketch. Might need to rethink that. OK, it's a new show filled with sketches written and performed by John Finnemore, but now no longer arranged in strict order of funniness. Also, he's cut the sketch that would have gone first.
Join us on Saturday 13 August at The Albany, 240 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5QU. Doors open at 4.45pm.
Minimum age: 14
Maximum tickets per request: 2

TALK OF THE TERRACE - ESPN
IF YOU ARE A FOOBALL FAN THEN THIS SHOW IS FOR YOU!!!
Location | ESPN STUDIO ONE, CHISWICK, LONDON W4 2TH
Talk of The Terrace (TOTT) is presented by Nat Coombs & Kelly Cates and is a light hearted look back at the weekend’s football action and stories in England, Scotland & Europe in the company of three studio guests.
The programme is not interested in indepth post match analysis and would rather know how much our guests know about their teams and what they’ve got to say on the big talking points of the week. TOTT is also the place to be if fans want tweet their thoughts on how their respective clubs have performed over the weekend.
To help Nat and Kelly along we have Richard Lenton, who spends his week chasing after premier league footballers as he goes in search of some much needed fashion advice. Chris Cohen gets out and about around premier league grounds to see what’s on football fans’ minds and Tom Ellen has a very particular and unique interview style that elicits some bizarre but revealing responses from a variety of top class footballers.
TOTT is a wonderful mix of football & humour.
The show is on air pretty much most Mondays from 6.30pm – 8pm and an atmospheric/boisterous studio audience is very welcome!

Are there any members in Oxford?
BBC Radio 4 Presents:
Life and Fate by Vasily Grossman
Join the BBC for a series of audience events in Oxford to introduce and discuss the epic novel Life and Fate by the Russian writer Vasily Grossman, as Radio 4 embarks on a major dramatisation of it.
Life and Fate is an immensely powerful work set during the Battle of Stalingrad, charting the fate of both a nation and a family in the turmoil of war. It was completed in 1960 but its comparison of Stalinism with Nazism was considered so dangerous by Soviet authorities that the manuscript was placed under arrest by the KGB and Grossman was informed his book would not be published for at least 200 years.
Having been a household name as one of Russia's most distinguished war correspondents, Grossman died aged 58 - the arrest of his book hastening the end of his life. He would never know the fate of his masterpiece, smuggled out of the Soviet Union on microfilm, to freedom and eventual publication in the West. Today it is increasingly hailed as the most important Russian novel of the 20th Century.
Radio 4's ambitious eight hour dramatisation of Life and Fate will star Kenneth Branagh and take over every drama strand on Radio 4 (apart from The Archers) from 18 to 24 September.
The public events will take place in the Chapel of St Peter's College, Oxford University.
Life and Fate: The Radio Dramatisation
9 September 2011 at 10amMartin Sixsmith discusses the radio version of Life and Fate with its dramatisers, Jonathan Myerson and Mike Walker, and its principle director, Alison Hindell, who is Head of Audio Drama at the BBC.
Life and Fate: Start the Week
9 September 2011 at 12noon
Andrew Marr presents a special edition of Start the Week reflecting Life and Fate.
Life and Fate: Grossman at War
