Please don't apologise, an obvious connection to make which is why I have no avatar of him... I promise there is a reason for it but one I won't share here (not as intriguing as it sounds, honest)! I also love Star Wars, and suspect many others on here do too... but that's another topic for another day..!TheyCallMeMrGlass wrote:Apologies, Anakin! Re: The Invention of Lying
I am so torn! I would love to see it so one part of me wants to win tickets, but I have an invitation to "A Night at the Museum" at the Science Museum that night (no film, but food and drink), and that sounds swish too!

Re: The Invention of Lying
No but it has kind of snowballed. At the event in Oxford I found the invitation for that museum thing in our room as it's organised by the same people, so I emailed and was put on the list! And those other events are either from PA magazines or venues I have visited at the Venues & Events Show recently. Btw, I went to Mela Restaurant tonight for a free 3 course buffet meal, they are an award winning Indian restaurant opposite Odeon Covent Garden - that was from a PA magazine.

Re: The Invention of Lying
lol...I get a few free films, but rarely free meals! Is this website also Free Meals UK? hehe
Re: The Invention of Lying
I was pleased when OH brought home a 20% off voucher for Mela, but that's nothing compared to a free buffet!
I actually used the voucher with my sister at another branch, and they got the discount wrong anyway.

Re: The Invention of Lying
I can't wait to see this movie. I love Ricky but understand how other people might not as he has a very dark and cutting sense of humour.
Re: The Invention of Lying
"Time Out" has given this only 2/5 and says, inter alia, that "Intermittently the film sparkles with invention, yet seriously outstays its welcome".
