Is it just me or does anyone else think that Matt Smith seems to flounce about the screen? He doesn't seem nearly as camp in real life. I much preferred David Tennant. I actually got bored and distracted watching last night and gave up.
As for Torchwood - we all know that Cap'n Jack Sparrow is gay - fair enough - but do we need that forced down our throats (figuratively speaking!) in each episode? It just starts to be tiresome after a while. Oh, and while I'm at it - why does Gwen whine all the time? Her moaning and whinging constantly is tedious. Bloody smile woman! Lol.

I'm getting tired of Matt Smith too. And River Song. And Doctor Who in general (which is a big surprise coming from me as I was very much a Who geek a few years ago).

I liked Mels in yesterday's episode and hoped we would get a new interesting companion to distract us from Karen Gillan's inability to act, but of course it wasn't meant to be because
it was just another incarnation of River Song-Melody Pond-who gives a damn.
I was getting fed up of Tennant then loved Matt as he was something different. Now, its the other way round (fickle? Me?) As Stuartboy said, Matt just flounces around and its getting on my nerves. A lot. I'm sure it wasn't as bad when he first took over. Sometimes he can be so good, then just goes all silly and I lose interest. Maybe I'll just watch the trailers which I adore, and forget about the actual shows. I can hardly remember what happened last night, it was all so boring for me.

I didn't mind River Song popping up here and there, but now we know who she is, its all a bit meh.

Unlike a lot of people I do like Rory and Amy (even though she's not good at acting) and I don't think it matters that there is a second companion, back in the past there's been 2 companions before.
I've linked a the Tennant era on my Sky+ and will watch that for a while

Re Torchwood, give me twenty of Captain Jack and Captain John sparring off each other, and having a gthe story.ood old fight, as opposed to whoever the totty/love of his life was last week.

Having said that the series is finally picking up so lets get on with it
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

To me River Song is the star of Doctor who by a mile these days, she can act and thought Mels was very good.
Lots of her mannerisms were the same as River's, which was very well done
Someone said there may not be another series of Torchwood.

Eve Myles has said lots of people are getting there teeth adjusted to look like her 8O 8O. Now that is plain daft!!!

I don't mind the Ponds, I just mind Amy (I adore Rory and want to see more him and not just see him die every other week!). I also wouldn't mind multiple companions, I quite liked it when there was Rose and Adam and the episodes where multiple companions come together. It's really just Amy that irks me wrong (though I am in continuous awe of how pretty she is).

My main problem with the Eleven years though isn't the actors or what they do (ie flouncing around in Matt's case), it's the storylines. Yes, Ten was overdramatised with a new heartbreak around every corner, but I felt much more for him (emotional as the ride was) than I have ever done for any of the Moffat years characters. And I much more preferred RTDs strong episodes throughout the season with little glimpses towards the season finale rather than Moffat's much more prominent overall arc that is boring me to tears before the finale episode even comes around. I'm no longer anticipating a new episode or even watch it straight away. Which is a big difference from a few years ago where I would watch certain episodes again and again.
