Oh we do the shoe box appeal every year - the children make up one each every year (1 girl and 1 boy). I then make two (1 boy and 1 girl).
Which means you are in!

I guess what we want to do is to collect under the name of the site, hopefully if that is available.

That is what i want to know if we can nominally mention the site but not making it soooooooooooooo legal, we are just a group of people collecting toys, clothes and maybe tinfood and giving it to London Child or any other charity. No big deal. But let's hear it from AYBG. We can always say we are people who met on the internet and that will be that, the important thing is that we give, not who we are.

Capital Radio is sending this for London Child, pls read and let me know, if anyone is willing we can do this instead. I just want to do a bit more than I usually do which is not very much, by the way. But pls read:

i've not forgotten just waiting for you to tell us what you would like us to do
The shoe box appeal would be a good starter? Its something we can all do regardless of where we live in the country
Here the Romania site with lots of drop off points or contact your local schools most of them do the shoe box appeal anyway
http://www.linkromania.co.uk/shoebox-ap ... oxes-to-us
or Samaritan's Purse UK for Africa
http://www.operationchristmaschild.org.uk/
We do one every year but i'd be happy to do another
Why not make a shoe box appeal thread with tips for what to put in?
Good news everyone I've invented a device that makes you read this in your head in my voice!
Thank you FMUK for inspiring our community cinema

Right! Thanks Allsinging. I'm just concerned not many people have joined lately. The toy collection hasn't yet started at Capital Radio, where I'm thinking of taking them. For the time being I'm trying to keep the thread on the first page of our general discussion so if people see it they might join it. The more the merrier, kind of thing. But thanks for answering.
