I saw this movie on Friday and while the first half or so felt particularly rushed (seriously, a minute long scene before the next year rolled around) overall I thought it was a sweet movie and I very much enjoyed it. I particularly loved the music they used to lead into each new year, it really set the mood for me. 7.5/10

this film was a great adaptation to the book and stayed true
even to Emma's shocking end which shocked me just as much in the book :crying:
Think i got more out of it having read the book, for others that hadn't could see how the film didn't give space for the characters to develop properly.

7.5/10

It hit the spot for me! I didn't read the book unfortunately, but still was pretty much following the plot.
I could relate to some events in this movie, may be that's why I liked it so much.
It was a perfect choice for me for an orange wednesday!
