Grezzo wrote:Hi, I'm Grezzo, I'm 29, and am a big fan of good movies (I'll explain "good" further down).

I live in the west country, and I work as a Software Tester/QA/Support for a broadcast video software company and look forward to (free fimls!!! and) checking out the FMUK the community

I have rated 136 films on flixter (using my iphone), which would probably make it easy for you to see which kind of films I do and don't like, but unfortunatly I can't figure out how to make my reating viewable by anyone except my facebook friends. I'll work on it, then add a link in my signature.

So, the meaning of a "good" film to me; is one that has a good story, a good point, or makes me think during or afterwards. My favourites are things like Romeo & Juliet (Baz L version), Eternal Sunshine, A Beautiful Mind, Shawshank, Green Mil, etc. Films I don't like for example are Pirates, or Transformers. I also don't like Star Wars, or Lord of the Rings which I'm sure will differ to a lot of other people's views.
Hi Grezzo,

I personally love the LOTR triology, but that's the one of the good things about this forum, everyone has different likes and dislikes when it comes the films but can still view and review them.

Hi, I'm new to the site. Are there any threads that cover previews in Ireland?

Thanks for the welcome. I'm very new to this, although my best friend's a member and has invited me to a couple of free screenings, which have been fab. I'm a massive film fan and can't wait to get involved! Thanks

Introducing myself

#1757 Post by pemhead » Thu Oct 06, 2011 5:18 pm

Hello, just wanted to thank the people who post the codes. I never manage to get anything from SFF as I work all day and I'm too late once I'm home.

I've already managed to get a couple of working codes from here, which are very much appreciated.

Thanks
:)

Hi All
I love films. I was supposed to see Footloose this evening at Showcase but it was cancelled so now I am going next week instead. I will post a review once I have seen it.

Hi all. I'm new to the site and just getting to know my way around. Thanks for the prompt AYGB. I live in London and have my own film club (well a bunch of girlfriends who watch DVDs!). A different person hosts at their house and picks the film and supplies the snacks and glass of wine. I've seen one free film so far (Warrior at Whiteley's) which was way better than I thought it was going to be. Tom Hardy was immense. Also saw Rock Of Ages last week which was fantastic. Both via via SeeFilmFirst. This site looks lively and well supported - congrats.

Hiya

I,m from Oldham near Manchester and I love watching movies to date I have seen over 5,000 films (5,016 to be exact) the most recent being The Lion King 3D at the cinema and The Sand Pebbles at home

I am 54 years old and have been married for 32 years

I am a full time carer for my wife who is wheelchair bound

we both love watching movies so we tend to watch 2-3 films per day at home and if we are lucky with the free movie previews 1-2 films per week at the cinema

we are going to see Real Steel on Sunday thanks to a code posted FMUK
