I do love twitter. I think more than any other social network.
It was a slow burner at first but now I enjoy it.

Doesn't really sound like a blockbuster does it?? Wonder how they'll make it entertaining enough for people to want to p*y to watch it.

Isn't it funny to read this 2 years later :D

I was pretty late to the Twitter party too, only got it last year. 3,542 tweets later and I barely ever use Facebook (although on a separate note The Social Network was the best film of last year).

Vote for a Paranormal Activity 3 screening

You need to be on twitter to tweet your vote, find Sheffield, London & Glasgow on the map or on the top cites list and click on 'tweet'
http://www.paranormalmovie.com/map/map. ... 147/-1.722

- works in firefox but not IE9
- you can tweet and RT as many times as you like and it counts

the FAQs
Q: How does Tweet To See It First work?

A: Easy! Over the next 2 weeks, people across the world will tweet to vote for their city. After 2 weeks, the top 20 cities with the most “tweet votes” will receive FREE screenings and be the first audiences to see the movie!

Q: I want to vote! How do I do that?

A: Voting is easy, just 3 simple steps.

Zoom into your city on the map.
Click on your city, or the city closest to where you live.
Tweet to vote!

Tell your friends to vote too!

Q: Do I need to have a Twitter Account to vote?

A: Yes. Sign up here: http://www.twitter.com It’s easy and free!

Q: I can’t find my city. What should I do?

A: A screening isn’t far away! Locate the major city closest to you and tweet your vote.

Q: When I search for my city in the search bar, nothing happens! What gives?

A: If your city isn’t coming up in search, use the + and – buttons to zoom into the area of your city and locate the major city closest to where you live and tweet your vote!

Q: How many cities will win screenings?

A: 20 cities will win free advance premieres.

Q: How many times can I vote?

A: Tweet as many times as you want!

Q: Does a re-tweet on twitter count as a vote?

A: Yes, so tell your friends to vote too.

Q: Can I vote from my iPhone or iPad?

A: Of course! Visit ParanormalMovie.com on your iOS device and select your city from the list or search from your closest major city!

Q: When does voting end?

A: Voting will end on October 13, 2011 at 11;59 PM PST.

Q: When will the winning screenings be announced?

A: The 20 winning cities will be announced on the official site (ParanormalMovie.com), Facebook Page (facebook.com/paranormalactivity) and Twitter Account (twitter.com/tweetyourscream) on 10/14/11.

Q: How do I RSVP for a screening if my city wins?

A: You can RSVP on the official site, paranormalmovie.com after the winning cities are announced on 10/14.

Q: If I have my Twitter settings set to "private", will my tweet count as a vote?

A: Nope, so turn your setting to "public" so your tweet is counted!

Q: I just tweeted my vote but I don't see the count going up on the map. What's going on?

A: Thanks for tweeting! The numbers will be refreshed every 30 minutes so check back soon and see what cities are in the lead.

Q: I still have a question or have a problem using the site. Who should I ask?

A: Email us at support@paranormalmovie.com

I think we should all back Sheffield. It's doing best out of all the cities in the UK and has a more realistic chance of winning at the moment

there's only 3 cities in the UK available for voting and it's the top 20 get screenings so I don't see why all three can't get votes you're not limited on votes.

I've found that if I put

#ParanormalActivity #Sheffield

into the search box it brings up all the other people's votes to RT so similarly

#ParanormalActivity #London
&
#ParanormalActivity #Glasgow

should work too.
