Re: Travel deals
FREE £10 train tickets voucher
Online deal
What's the deal?
New RedSpottedHanky customers can grab a free £10 e-voucher to use at the online rail ticket shop by registering via a special link. There's no minimum spend, and unusually this site charges no booking fees.
We've blagged 20,000 of these vouchers for you – and they're likely to disappear FAST.
How to get the e-voucher
Just register via this specific link. (Please note the link will be added here at 9am Wed 17 Aug '11.) RedSpottedHanky will credit £10 to your account within 72 hours (it'll display as 1,000 loyalty points). Tick the box on the payment page to use it.
There's no minimum spend, so, in other words, if you're b*ying a ticket that only costs a tenner (or less) you get it free - otherwise you just p*y the difference. The e-voucher's valid until 31 Dec 2012.
How good is this?
In our check, RedSpottedHanky ticket prices were similar to elsewhere, so this is a cracking saving. You can use railcards with the voucher, there are no booking or card fees and postage is free.
Tesco Clubcard users can combine RedSpottedHanky Rewards vouchers with this. For a full explanation of how to grab train tickets at a third of the price with Tesco Rewards, plus a host of other ways to save, see the Cheap Trains Tickets guide.
Any restrictions?
The voucher is one per customer and per household. Offer excludes Northern Ireland. If the total cost is less than the voucher, the the balance will remain on your account for your next p*rchase.

Re: Travel deals
Free Train Tickets + Free Cashback (Discounted Tickets)
Southern Railway are on Quidco p*ying £2.52 Cashback for every completed order. If you travel locally on a regular basis then this could be a good opportunity to save some cash on train fares.
1) Visit Southern Railway and get a price for your local journey. If the Journeys less than £2.50 return (and sometimes it can be if you use your railcard) then you will effectively be travelling for free.
2) Make sure theres a self service collection machine at your station. Over 200 UK local stations have them.
3) Order your train tickets from Southern Railway through Quidco. Only order 1 return/single ticket per order to maximise your commission on TopCashback. If your travelling to and from work each day then place 5 seperate orders for the tickets.
4) Collect your tickets from the machine each morning/afternoon when you arrive at the train station
This will only really benefit you if:
You want to travel a short distance locally
Your departing train station has a self service collection machine
Your a member of Quidco
I travel to Birmingham Town Centre daily and the tickets are £3.10 return. Using TopCashback and collecting them from the machine each day they are only 70p return which saves me £12.50 a week
£12.50 a week is a few extra beers on a Saturday night for me
Hope this helps local train users
