Got an email from Psychologies Mag:
"We’re still chasing the film company who were meant to be bringing them along. As soon as we know any more I’ll let you know."

Oh yes, we sat in front of you at Swan Lake and yes you would have seen her at the Q&A.

I think she should be part of the 100 Films myself, she's seen The Help one more time than me!

That's a better response than I got from my email. They just said they were glad I liked the film and ignored the rest.

Just back from screening of The Help at Braehead. I was really looking forward to this film and wasn't disappointed. I definitely felt the second half of the film was better as the story was more settled and did not move about as in the 1st half. The characters were well-developed and the acting from all was excellent. A long film of almost 2hrs 30mins and yet the time passed without notice. This film should be compulsory viewing for all teenagers to get a realistic view of life in the early 1960s, particularly in USA.
Surprised that cinema was just over 1/2 full although that could be down to the number of screenings around.

Marks 8.5/10

Last minute decision based on traffic when I reached Helen St. I know MGP didn't start 'til later but I couldn't be bothered with traffic.

Ta for keeping seat for me! :thanks:

Had ticket for MGP on 1st Nov. in Paisley but now may go Parkhead Forge on Monday as I haven't been there for years.
