saw this yesterday, walked after just under an hr, was absolute rubbish, is a real shame, i thought trailer looked great and i saw some footage at Movie-Con, Terry Gilliam was there presenting the footage and did a Q&A on film after, so really looked fwd to seeing this but just cant express how bad it was. The guy who loves Lily (i think thats her name) is the worst actor i have seen in ages, the London setting is just dull and boring, the 'other worlds' stuff was ok but nothing extraordinary. Heath Ledger was ok, but his swansong was Joker. Didnt get to see Depp, Law and Farrell, but i just could not sit through that film. Worst film seen since Mamma Mia, 0/5.
Upcoming films want to see;
Top Gun Maverick
MI 7 & 8
The Many Saints of Newark
Ghostbusters : Afterlife

Best films seen recently;
Tenet
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
In The Heights

I went to watch this last Sunday after watching Mr Fox. I've been waiting ages for this and thought the trailer looked great. I have to say I was extremely disappointed, to say the least! Firstly, the movie was far too long. I didn't feel the storyline was straight to follow, also took a long time to get into. I thought it was quite predictable as to what would happen too. It didn't amaze me nor keep me intrigued. I only had my chocolated covered popcorn to keep me going! The character Heath Ledger played was very annoying as was Lilly (she reminded me of Janine from Eastenders for some bizarre reason!). It felt as though some parts were repeated in different ways, either that or the storyline was just dragging. Arghhhh just so long. Very disappointed as I thought this would have been good. Good thing I still had my Vue tickets remaining to use on these. A mark of 4.5/10 (being very generous here).

Finally caught this today at the Prince Charles Cinema with free tickets I was kindly given. Didn't think much of it to be honest, it was too long and too weird. Some bits were funny, but it was rather repetetive and became boring after a while. Shame, as it didn't make me care for any of the characters. I am sorry, de mortuis nihil nise bene but I thought Heath Ledger was rubbish, that kind of role always works better for someone like Johnny Depp.

5/10

I was there too Beate, sadly I missed the first 10 mins as the girl who won the tickets was late. So, I dind't have a clue what was going on and thought I'd maybe have to leave. After a while I settled into it and just went with it. All very strange and odd. I thought that Heath was better than JD, who was playing JD/ Jack Sparrow. I also thought The Farrell was pretty good, but Jude may as well not have been there. My friend then stayed on for Hurt Locker but I had that on DVD so went home
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks
