It's not really ambiguous. It's just part of the PTSD.

Most films about cults are about people being sucked in, trying to escape and then being coerced into doing bad stuff. The 4M film didn't do that. Instead, it asked the question, can you articulate an experience that you find difficult to share? Can you get over it? Unlike any correspondents, I was asked to sign a waiver saying that I couldn't post what I thought about the film until February, which is odd, but rules are rules. Everyman Maida Vale sounds nice. My favourite Euro cinema - for Beate's benefit - is the Leokino in Innsbruck. Spud out.
