National Express £1 tix with 45p paperNewspaper-based offer

What's the deal?

National Express is offering 50,000 one-way coach tickets across the UK for £1 with a voucher from the Mirror newspaper (45p).

There's a 50p booking fee, so all-in it'll cost just under £2 each way. By comparison, full price London-Manchester single tickets are about £7-£29, so it's a decent saving. Tickets are subject to availability, so get in quick.

How do I get it?

Vouchers will be printed in the Mirror until Thurs 19 Jan – grab a voucher, then book online at least seven days in advance via the National Express offer page by midnight Sun 29 Jan. Then take your newspaper voucher along with your e-ticket when you go.
When can I go? The offer's valid for travel between Sat 4 Feb - Sat 17 Mar.
Where can I go? 100s of selected routes, including London to Manchester, Edinburgh to Newcastle, and Cardiff to London.
Any restrictions: Excludes travel to or from airports. Tickets are non-refundable and can't be used with other offers. See offer page for full terms.

Free cab rides in London this week!

Nokia has got well into the spirit of ‘Social Media Week' this week by branding up a bunch of London black cabs with colourful Lumia imagery and unleashing them into the UK capital.

It doesn't end there, however, as these snazzy taxis will ferry you around for the low price of absolutely nothing at all. Yup, Nokia has pa*d for some taxis to cruise London's streets and all you have to do is hail one to get a free ride.
