anteena1 - I think I spoke to you several times last night! Both in the queue for face paints and after. I remember talking to you about your skull garland asking where it was from and being told that you made it! I didn't get the 'flower eyes' like you, I got the 'red stripe' - very Adam Ant! My bf got his face painted first, as a bright blue skull. I was dancing too, and got given a couple of flower garlands, one pink and one red while dancing! I don't recall who gave them to me or when, but I came home wearing them :p
We left at 1:30am and both woke up this morning still drunk. Funnily enough, I started to feel hungover around midday. We also still had a blue stripe of face paint on our faces that wouldn't wash off!
I was quite drunk around 10pm, but yes, the drinks were still free after, which was a bit surprising though appreciated. The event was good (not as good as the one in March IMO, but only coz the food was better in March, but still a memorable night) and surprisingly there wasn't many people there.
Great to meet you anteena1 - I hope to see you at another event soon xx

Has the blue stripe washed off yet or are we going to be able to spot you at screenings with this permanent mark?

Hehe, reminds me of that character in Phoenix Nights who had the tiger face paint on that wouldn't was off! Was hilarious, you would see him in later episodes with a fading version of the face paint. Classic! Hope it has all come off priamia!

That's exactly what I was thinking of. My OH only has to see a kid with tiger face paint and he is in fits of laughter remembering that episode. :rofl2:

:giggle: Thankfully the blue stripe has come off, but there is still the faintest of streaks still there. I notice it cause I know it's there... :shifty: I still have the glitter on me - that's the hardest to come off - it was sprayed on after the face paint. It's on my chest and I think my skin's absorbed it! Will get the loofah out :p

i remember you, yes your bf was after me, i was saving his place in the queue lol
The FMUK radar must have been working and we were naturally drawn together. I have scoured the net but our pics arent up yet.
it took 5 wipes to get all the paint off but yes the blue did stain slightly - your bf must of had a tough time with his whole face blue lol

yes the food was much better at the cinema, i was really looking forward to the chilli and fajitas. we left at 11.30pm
every now and again i look up cazidores to see what they are doing. I think they have something planned for leeds.

we shall have to look to see what the next freebie night is especially with the xmas season starting soon.

It was a good night out, I really enjoyed it. I liked the Vampiro alot. The food wasn't the greatest, but was much appreciated though. The music was quite fab as well esp after 10ish

Thanks for posting the link to the pics anteena1! Will show my bf when he gets home (he's out drinking at the mo).

superhero - I agree. Food not as good as March (but March was catered for my a restaurant), or as filling but the churros were a nice surprise. I enjoyed the music that Jodie Harsh played. Not heard her mix before and I was bouncing away until nearly 2am. Didn't realise the time until we left at 1:30am!! Wasn't planning on staying so long, but had a good time :p

I just realised that you can (just about) see me in the pic of my bf. I'm behind the lady doing the face painting, in a cream top. Look above her raised sparkly arm. It's like 'Where's Wallly/Waldo'!! :D
