it was really about 2 minutes, no time for a pee break, I guess they wanted to leave and security did not allow them or something

If you know you have a "wee" problem (pardon the pun!) then come early and sit at the end of a row so you can escape with the least fuss....It's a matter of common-sense!
I must admit it does really annoy me when the film has only been running 10 minutes!
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston

Films already booked for:

Hope to get tickets for: Every film if they come to my preferred cinemas

i really cannot stand people that turn up late for a screening (especially after i turned up a few minutes late once at the quay glasgow and was refused entry). the screening of extremely close and incredibly loud i was nice and early for an end seat incase i needed a wee lol and then ten or fifteen minutes into the film and it was pretty packed out a man asked me to move along so his family could sit together. lol . i says am sorry but i do mind moving if you wanted to sit together as a family then maybe you should have made the effort to turn up on time and sit together . i think he nearly collapsed when i said no lol and my other half near had a heart attack as well lol

my neighbour would have killed 'em
yeah they sit there for 20 mins or so, watch the trailers then decide they have to go to the toilet!

I was at a theatre radio recording at Hackney Empire. These two girls went out to Chicken Cottage or some such gross place, and came back eating that stuff. So the guy next to them went off and got a burger 8O Luckily the ushers could smell it, and made them go out to eat it
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

how does you moving seats when you are right at the end mean his family will get to sit together? I do believe if there is more than 2 in the group then arrive early to guarantee you sit together. Otherwise take what is left.

An aisle seat is crucial for us these days unless there is plenty of legroom anyway. Or a middle of the row above the stairs seat, anything that guarantees a quick exit or a quiet loo break. With OH's sometimes weak bladder (especially when plied with free drinks beforehand), it's better to safeguard, and then he also feels less confused finding his way back. So we try to be good, but please don't hate the weak-bladdered, they can't help it!

Girl next to me had one too . . . . and I could have asked for a bite! :giggle: She did finish it before the film, I must add!
I hate the smell of the hotdogs the cinemas sell and the tacho type thing, luckily it rarely happens at the screenings I have been too. If I am hungary I either eat before I get in, b*ying en route (I'm too stingy to p*y their exorbitant prices), or wait until I get home and I always go straight from work.

Hopefully this year we will get more free Manchester screenings :cross: as they are rare as hen's teeth nowadays :tears:
Hoping to beat my 2024 total of 32 :cross:
