For me the squareness of the font in no 2 goes with the 'square' idea of a nerd but the filled in letters and eyes make it quirky too :)

I was drawn to 1 and 2 but prefer I.
Design wise the type and graphic sit well together as one. It also has the greatest resemblance to Groucho Marx, which of course is a good thing!

I prefer no. 3. I think that's because I find the less black/chunky font more attractive - not so keen on the blocked-in letters on some of the others, in particular - and also because the font for no. 3 somehow seems more professional and stylish to me.
