Best Film of October was definately Harry Brown, such a good film, contender for film of the year actually, alongside Shifty, both vivid portrayls of British life that were really effective

FAQ's is a film that definitely works better on DVD, and is the best British film I've seen all year. Plus it's short enough to re-watch it in the same night

Re: BEST FILM SEEN IN LAST MONTH AT CINEMA
For me, Zombieland was by far the best film I saw last month.

Re: BEST FILM SEEN IN LAST MONTH AT CINEMA
I enjoyed Harry Brown - scariest film of the year! Interesting that Michael Caine has come out supporting national service now after what he has seen in London!

Hi all I'm new on here... good to meet you all.
My vote for the best film is definitely 'Harry Brown'!
I was hoping for the best as I think Michael Caine is a great actor, but if I'm honest was expecting the worst. Thank goodness my expectations were overturned, great pacing and a fantastic understated performance from Caine coupled with a great if not worrying script. The mobile phone footage being the realest/scariest I've seen for a while.
Top film!!
