Re: Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel
I remember I was really looking forward to the first one that came out back out three years ago but the film was an utter disappointment. From looking at the trailer, I don't think we are looking at anything better.

Re: Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel
I was dragged to see the first one by a friend, he enjoyed it, being a sucker for those kinds of films, I sat waiting for the credits, even as a die hard Jason Lee and David Cross fan it was nothing close to respectable.
If he asks again this year I'll suggest we see Avatar instead.

DD enjoyed it, it was fine for a family film. If you or your children liked the first one, they'll like this. Not much of a plot but plenty of slapstick. Glasgow was about 75% full and kiddies had a chance to stand beside chipmunk statues at the end.

Re: Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel
It was light hearted and funny, my friends son and his mate (both aged 8) thought it was brilliant so I think their enjoyment rubbed off on me otherwise I would probably say it was a bit naff!
