I love my new iPod. I realised recently there's an app to read books on it. Already read Great Expectations and Around The World In Eighty Days - now halfway through The War Of The Worlds, H.G. Wells!

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.
Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

How fab I love Great Expectations. I'm reading Fragrance of Violets, its a light hearted romance but I'm loving it as its been written by my friend. I really can't read books on a phone, its far too small for me. I love my Kindle and my audiobooks.
so carrying on frm the Headhunters book talk, I've got the audio and can't wait to hear it.
Tibba was talking about Ian Rankin on the Review show, and how his books haven't translated well on the screen. n I remember JOhn Hannah being totally miscast as Rebus. I also saw Ken Stott doing the same role but can't remember what was wrong with him.
And talking of being miscast, does anyone read the Jack Reacher books? Do you see Tom Cruise as REacher?
