Hmm... I was thinking whilst walking around the tour, wouldn't people who have been to the Florida theme park be underwhelmed by this? Especially children who have no interest in the filmmaking process.

Probably - but this is a lot easier to get to for people in the UK!superhero wrote:Hmm... I was thinking whilst walking around the tour, wouldn't people who have been to the Florida theme park be underwhelmed by this? Especially children who have no interest in the filmmaking process.

Re: Harry Potter Studio Tour
Lol, he wrote a lot for someone who's disinterested in HP. I went with someone who has never seen a single HP film and yes I think even non-fans will like this tour, but maybe not at £28 (even though yes there is a lot to see).

Re: Harry Potter Studio Tour
I was invited to this last week and thought it was very good even for the casual fan.
The sets and props are very impressive. The Great Hall and the miniature model of Hogwarts being the standout.
They seem to have followed Disney as the end of the tour takes you straight to the gift shop which includes wands, costumes, books and every concievable merchandise you can think of.
There are a few interactive props plus there is a chance to ride a broomstick over a green screen background. Beware though if you want a souvenir photo of this as the charge is £12 rising to £20 for four photos.
There is a stall in the outdoors section selling Butterbeer which is not as nice as the Orlando one.
I think the shuttle bus was running every half an hour to and from Watford Junction as it is not walking distance.

Lol....another person who's been to the Orlando one, I bumped into a few people today who mentioned the same thing comparing this to the theme park in Orlando

I walked in a cynic much like ethan, but walked out grudgingly appreciative. It should put Watford on the map for tourist.

Re: Harry Potter Studio Tour
Well if it can even turn a cynic (grudgingly) around that must mean it'll be a great experience for the fans!
