Hated Clash so much, one of the worst of 2010, so went to Wrath with much trepidation, and an unfairly free afternoon that meant I had no other obligations. Came out enjoying it. Stupid, yes, and the 3D is awful, but fun nonetheless: http://www.dogatemywookie.co.uk/?p=21725

I plan to see this tomorrow, is it essential to see the first one? I love the original 70s film but I gave the remake a miss.

I remembered little of numero one and it was easy to reconfigure, they give everyone exposition.

My verdict on Wrath: http://londonfilmfanatiq.com/2012/03/30 ... he-titans/

If you must see this, avoid the 3D versions like the plague. One would have thought they'd feel like they have something to prove with this second effort, but obviously not.

is the very low score mostly because of the 3D then?
(I really need to pick a half decent film to see tomorrow)

It's down to poor presentation all around. Even in 2D it's poorly composed.

Then there's the dialogue...

Cheers, I'll go see this tonight then in 2D. At least I can see that most multiplexes are showing both 2D and 3D simultaneously sharing equal time slots.

Just back from seeing this in 2D; it was actually the perfect match for my bag of popcorn - I thought if I had to see a bad movie, I better make the experience sweeter! -

If you forget the fact that the script is one of the most inappropriate for this kind of movie, you may find yourself enjoying it! I actually rather "enjoyed" it.
But really, when Zeus said to Hades "Let's have some fun" I could not stop laughing and thought the movie had switched back to some kind of mythical A-Team :giggle:

Liam Neeson (dear, this guy is everywhere!!) and Ralph Fiennes are fantastic if you consider what they are given to work with; and a special mention to Bill Nighy who gave me my loudest laughs this morning!
The cousin/Navigator -did not catch his name- delivered some hilarious lines as well... shame this movie was not supposed to be a comedy!

6.5/10
(I can imagine it being a nightmare to watch in 3D are some of the fight scenes are already too fast)

Well this was certainly dire yesterday...

Saw it in the evening since a rain storm spoiled our day yesterday! And in 2D of course!
Fair enough there's more action and cgi effects than clash, but everything seemed rushed!
For one, the impenetrable maze, seemed way to easy to get through in my opinion, it was more like an excuse to include the Minotaur.
If Kronos is so bad ass, and the destroyer of worlds, how come all he did was throw molten crap everywhere, and was killed more easily than ares?
Oh and after the 25th time he looked at his son in the same fight, the 'fighting for him' crap seemed to finally kick in.

Laughed at the 'gay' moment between Zeus and hades, and the dialogue was piss poor but they did their best with it.

All in all, the best part was BIll NIghy as Hephaestus, great role, great actor, loved every second!

5/10
Cause it was marginally better than clash, and for bill nighy's awesomeness.
Shadowhunters: Looking better in black than the widows of our enemies since 1234.
I am, after all, what you made me.
